I saw the end of the show, when he introduced numbers 2 and 1 but I think my TV must be on the blink b/c he definitely looked <font color="green">green!</font> [img]eek.gif[/img] lol Honestly, his face had this greenish tinge to it. Maybe it was the reflection from his shirt or, as I said, maybe my TV is to blame but it was most disconcerting nevertheless! [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I can't really comment on what he was like presenter wise though as I didn't really watch it for any length of time. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Well I taped last night's show and I have as yet to watch it although like Terry I did catch the tail end of it.

Comes back to add that I've now got the repeat of it on TV and LOL Darren seems to be in the pink [img]tongue.gif[/img] Maybe that greenish shirt isn't exactly flattering to his skin tone [img]wink.gif[/img] LMAO he doesn't half love to talk! As he once said, he could hold a conversation with a chair [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I saw pretty much the whole thing and he did very well as a presenter, though if you weren't a fan who has read and watched a million of his interviews he may have come across as a bit of an arrogant arsehole. The vast majority of the songs were just plain awful. The good ones were 'Beds Are Burning' by Midnight Oil, Crowded House and INXS. And of course 'Land Down Under' was in there. As an Aussie, I would have been disgusted if that wasn't included. Lol. Where were the Divinyls and where were Icehouse? I ask you. These music channels suck big style.

I caught the repeat (well, bits of it anyway) and couldn't agree more at the 'quality' of some of the tunes. It was a pretty dire selection, apart from a few of the classics like INXS etc.

I know what you mean about D coming across as being a bit of an dick though. If you didn't know better then that's probably the assumption that ppl would make. I was left feeling a bit [img]confused.gif[/img] by it actually.
